Wildlife Friends Foundation Hua Hin Join Full Day Tour organized by WFFT

7 hours and 30 minutes

Very easy

The best option to learn about Thailand’s wildlife, its beauty and its problems is to visit our center and learn everything there is to know about wildlife conservation and animal welfare in Thailand.

The Full Experience at WFFT are designed to allow day trip visitors a chance to learn about the rescued creatures living at the Wildlife Rescue Center and Elephant Refuge, see the hundreds of animals, and get up close and personal to our elephants in a way which is cruelty-free and does not exploit them.

There are too many ‘attractions’ where tourists unwittingly contribute to the suffering of animals – elephant riding, and posing with animals for photos are just a few examples – but at WFFT we offer the chance for visitors to see our rescued animals responsibly, free of cruelty and where the animals do not suffer as a result.

The best option to learn about Thailand’s wildlife, its beauty and its problems is to visit our center and learn everything there is to know about wildlife conservation and animal welfare in Thailand.

This decision has been made as part of WFFT’s long-term goal to manage all our elephant in a protected-contact management system meaning we will be hands-off with our herd of rescued elephants. Providing them with as much freedom as we possibly can. WFFT is a leader in captive elephant management and welfare, making these changes will bring us closer to our goal while benefiting the elephants and enhancing the visitor experience. Working so closely with captive wild animals poses many threats, even to those that purport to have special bonds with the animals they care for, close interactions with wild animals are never risk-free.

We will be creating a new unique visitor experience where guests will be able to meet, greet and feed the rescued elephants at the WFFT Elephant Refuge. The elephants will be able to come and go as they please, while the guests will be stationed at a protected platform area within the elephant habitat. This will still provide you with a once in a lifetime opportunity to keep up close to these majestic animals while giving our elephants even more freedom to do as they please.
